Financial Help

I believe that everyone should be able to have a doula and education.  I do a number of clients a year that can not afford to hire a doula/take a class at full cost.  Please email me and explain your situation if you feel that you would qualify for this help. 

I can also possibly work with someone who needs a more relaxed payment plan. Again, please email me.  If I can not work with you I can try to help you find someone who can.

Why a doula costs what we cost

I am a mother of 4.  I know what it is like to have money be a stressor.  I know what it is like to want a doula and feel that it is out of reach.  However, it was worth it to me to scrape up the money with my last birth.  I am so glad I did because it literally changed my life.  

We charge what we charge because we are so available to you and will spend a great deal of time with you.  I only take one client a month so that I am sure that I will be there for your birth and not at someone else's.  I am available without limit by phone or email from the time I am hired.  I will meet and spend a great deal of time with you before birth.  Even if your birth is 24 hours I will be by your side.  I will be right there with you throughout your labor.  After birth I also meet with you and spend time with you.  I help with breastfeeding and helping you process your birth experience. 

A doula is very committed to you in a physical and emotional way.  This day is going to be one of the biggest in your life.  How much did you spend on your wedding?  I believe a birth deserves as much, if not more, attention.  I promise it is money well spent!
